This new law requires municipalities to significantly improve their digital resilience, especially in processes where sensitive or privacy-sensitive information is processed. Trip registration clearly falls under this legislation. Municipalities that work with outdated or non-certified systems run the risk of sanctions of up to \u20ac10 million. This calls for action.
