Did you know that MyFMS has a sister company? That sister is called PetBase. Both companies originate from the same family business, Micpoint. Where MyFMS helps organizations with complete trip registration in accordance with fiscal requirements and provides insight into data from vehicles, machines and personnel, PetBase has grown into the database for pet registration and reporting to RVO. Two different worlds, but still connected by the same origin, the same values and the same family name that formed the foundation of both companies.

Reliability as a shared foundation
What connects MyFMS and PetBase is their core: reliability and compliance with legislation. MyFMS ensures that companies always comply with fiscal requirements with a complete trip registration. Everything is securely stored in the cloud and processed fully compliant.
PetBase does the same, but within a completely different world. They handle all mandatory notifications regarding chip, passport and transfer of ownership directly with RVO. PetBase distinguishes itself as the only Dutch database with ISO27001 certification, the international proof that all personal data is managed safely and carefully.

From Micpoint to MyFMS and PetBase
The history of MyFMS and PetBase begins in 1989 with the founding of Micpoint. What started then as Mobile Installation Center – specialized in car phones and vehicle security – quickly grew into an innovative organization under the leadership of Jan Leemkuil. In 1991, this was followed by expansion with the veterinary package DAISY, which marked the first step towards digital animal registration.
In 1998, Daisyweb came to life: the very first online database for animals. Ten years later it was given a new name: PetBase. Meanwhile, Micpoint continued working on technological solutions in the mobility sector, including vehicle tracking systems.
When the time came in 2010 to launch its own cloud platform, MyFMS was born: My Flow Management System. A smart solution for trip registration and fleet management that helps organizations make their business processes more efficient.
PetBase continued to grow into the European animal database of the Netherlands and became an independent organization in 2022. Today, MyFMS and PetBase are two separate companies, but still connected by their shared building, family and origin.
